The Cowboys have four candidates for the NFL's top award this year.
NFL conference championship week has generally been a meaningless affair for the Dallas Cowboys for nearly three decades. That is, you realize that it hurts much less when someone else makes a joke if you make the joke yourself.
At this rate, we're only two weeks away from the very exciting Super Bowl week. While it's clear that one team will establish eternal glory in The Big Game™️, we'll also see certain players achieve significant accomplishments.
We're talking about the NFL's individual awards, which are given out as usual at NFL Honors.
The NFL and Associated Press announced the finalists for the award on Thursday, with four players representing the Dallas Cowboys.

Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Daron Brand and Micah Parsons are nominated for two different awards as quarterbacks for the Cowboys. But to be honest, the chances of either of them winning seem pretty slim.
It once looked like Prescott and Parsons could win MVP and DPOY during the season, but after Christmas Eve's loss to the Miami Dolphins, things changed for Cowboys players looking for individual awards. They're on the ballot, but as things stand, it's not a sure bet.
