Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a fundraiser in Dallas on Nov. 1 as part of the two-day Texas Swing.
The event is hosted by Dallas businessman Kenny Trout and his wife Lisa.The location was not listed on the invitation received by Dallas Morning News.
The invitation lists 17 leaders from Trump's Texas leadership team, led by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Attorney General Ken Paxton.
The next day, President Trump is scheduled to hold a Houston fundraiser at the Post Oak Hotel.
Trump, a front-runner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, has a strong political and fundraising campaign in Texas.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has announced that Trump's former Texas donors, including Dallas businessman Roy Bailey, who served as national co-chair of the Republican National Committee and President Trump's Joint Fundraising Committee, Convincing some fundraisers.
Last week, DeSantis held a fundraiser in Dallas.
The Dallas and Houston fundraisers show that much of President Trump's support in Texas remains intact.
Trump held his first official campaign rally of 2024 in Waco, locking up support from more than a dozen statewide and Texas legislative leaders.
Patrick said at an event in March. news Trump will win the Texas primary on March 5th.
Paxton's name on the invitation suggests he will play a major role in Trump's Texas campaign. The attorney general returned to his duties after the Senate acquitted him on the impeachment charges.
