A custom-built Dallas mansion with a waterfall in the pool and a wet bar inside went on the market for $13.4 million on Monday.
Located in an upscale community in the city's University Park neighborhood, the more than 10,000-square-foot home was completed in 2019 and designed by local firms SHM Architects and Tatum Brown Custom Homes. According to the listing by Amy Detwiler of Detwiler & Wood Group at Compass, this “modern masterpiece” features imported travertine and limestone inside and out, and frameless sliding glass doors that create an indoor-outdoor environment. It is said that it is equipped with.

Detwiler said the hard-to-find travertine was hand-selected from an Italian quarry. “The end result is a rare Italian horizontal line of travertine, unfilled and unpolished, that transitions from the exterior to the interior walls.”
As the photos show, upon entering the mansion, you begin with a double-height living room with a floor-to-ceiling mantle and walled-in fireplace. The dining area is also located on the main level, with an additional library and lounge, featuring a gray color scheme and a marble waterfall wet bar with vertical sides that reach the floor.
The chef's kitchen also has marble finishes and features an island, two sinks, multiple ovens, custom cabinetry, a breakfast area, and an adjacent family room.
According to the listing, the home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and two powder rooms. The primary bedroom suite features custom doors, a private balcony, and a bathroom with blonde wood cabinetry and a soaking tub.
A separate living room is outside with a fireplace and overlooks the pool area with hot tub and waterfall. This home sits on over half an acre of land and is surrounded by a lawn garden.
The underlying property last traded in 2008, but Mansion Global could not determine the closing price because Texas does not require disclosure of home sales. The seller could not be reached for comment.
The Dallas Business Journal first reported the listing.
