Anna Walsh's murder was one of the biggest stories of 2023 for the Boston metropolitan area, but the conspiracy reached far beyond the Bay State and attracted international attention.
The days and weeks following Anna's disappearance and Brian Walsh's arrest were at times intense and chaotic for NBC10 Boston journalists as they tried to bring updates on the case to a public desperate for answers. .

Abby Niezgoda, a reporter at large for NBC10 Boston, covered the case for about a month straight after Anna's disappearance. She followed the ground investigation, spoke to people in the Walsh family circle, and reported on the charges against Bryan as prosecutors laid out their charges against him in court.
