Apple automatically generates these transcripts after new episodes are published. This means that your podcast transcript will be delayed until immediately after publication.
Creators can also change their transcripts or submit their own transcripts on the Apple Podcasts Connect page, the admin page for Apple Podcast creators.
This feature was implemented primarily to increase the accessibility of podcasts. Apple said, “Apple is introducing transcripts to Apple Podcasts, making it easier for everyone to access podcasts.” This feature not only improves accessibility, but is also useful for podcast fans in general.
