The long-awaited merger of amusement park giant Six Flags and Cedar Fair, owner of Schlitterbahn water parks, is set to close on July 1.Once the merger is complete, the new combined company will operate under the Six Flags name, be valued at approximately $8 billion, and own and operate more than 40 amusement and water parks.
