“First of all, the future has to be bright. That's my view on everything. We have to be optimistic,” Kruszewski says. “So, I don't like to think about cities in decline. But downtown St. Louis is in decline in many ways. But I'm encouraged by the investments that are being made. I'm Bob I'm reminded of what O'Loughlin said: The St. Louis Aquarium and all the investments he's made in Union Station, obviously the Cardinals and what they've brought to football, all of that is really important, making the downtown safer, the suburbs. It's about making sure people who live in the area can come downtown for good food and fun things to do. We have some work to do in that regard.”
