DALLAS – May 15, 2024 – Children’s HealthSM and UT Southwestern Medical Center announced Wednesday a historic $100 million grant from Gene and Mac Pogue to support the innovative new $5 billion Dallas pediatric campus announced earlier this year. announced a donation. In honor of the Pogue family's gift, the 33-acre site for a new pediatric campus in Dallas will be named Pogue Park. The park will encompass outdoor grounds surrounding the new facility and will include extensive green spaces aimed at supporting recovery and compassionate healing in a natural environment and reducing stress.
The $5 billion Dallas pediatric campus, planned by Children's Health and UT Southwestern, will be located in the Southwestern Medical District across from UT Southwestern's William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital.
