Christina Applegate recently faced a “pretty bad” relapse of her multiple sclerosis.upon Messya joint podcast with Jamie Lynn Sigler, Applegate shared that she was suffering from debilitating pain to the point where she couldn't even shower.
“I'm having a relapse right now. It's pretty bad,” Applegate said during the taping. “I haven't slept in 24 hours because my eyes are doing weird things. Every time I close my eyes to go to sleep, my right eye starts moving like this.”
She explained that she had not showered in three weeks due to constant pain and poor circulation in her legs. “This is the first time my leg has been this bad,” she said. “I don't know what's going on. I don't have energy, my legs just finished, I can't get circulation, I can't stop the pain, etc.”
Mr. Applegate told Mr. Sigler, “To be honest with you, I haven't taken a shower in three weeks, so I need to buy some Cottonelle stock.'' Because I can't take a shower. You cannot use the shower. There is a very small bench, but the latest a- is so big that I can't sit on it and feel like I'm going to slide off of it. So I've been cottoning my body. ”
Sigler, who revealed in 2016 that she was diagnosed with MS at the age of 20, said: “Sometimes even when you're doing the right thing, the problem doesn't go away.”
Applegate replied: “So you've been doing all these bad things and just lying in a dark room watching TV and wishing it all would go away. And that's where I am.” She said, He added that although he was able to take time off, the relapse had left him in a “deep depression.”

In March, Applegate revealed in an interview that she had likely been living with multiple sclerosis for many years before being diagnosed. Good morning, America. The segment marked the first time the actress talked about her autoimmune disease on TV since she was diagnosed in 2021.
“I live in hell,” Applegate said. GMARobin Roberts. “I never wake up in the morning and think, 'This is great.' I'll just say that. It's not going to happen. I wake up and remind myself of that every day…but it works a little better. I might be able to get to a place. I'm in quarantine right now, and I'm coping by not going anywhere because I don't want to. It's difficult.”
