Audible original “Climate of Change” wins Best Green Podcast award. i heart radio's annual iHeartPodcast Awards, hosted by The Hartford, was held live on March 11 at the SXSW Conference and Festivals in Austin, Texas.
This groundbreaking program was recognized for its resilient work in shining a light on the ongoing climate crisis, as well as its contribution to the podcast industry. “Climate of Change” cate blanchett and Danny Kennedy is an “Audible Original created and produced by Dirty Films in partnership with StoryHunter.”
This resource aims to draw attention to major environmental issues and educate listeners about how humans are going above and beyond to solve these problems. According to Audible's synopsis, “Climate of Change” is “about the challenges facing humanity and celebrates groundbreaking efforts to meet the crisis.” Its goal is to bring about change not only for the environment, but also for humanity as a whole (these are closely related).
The Best Green Podcast category featured additional environmental resources such as “Discarded,” “Living on Earth,” “TED Climate,” and “Sea Change.” In the end, “Climate of Change” came out on top due to the insightful, unique, and valuable content featured in each episode.
