Columbian Country Club opens Friday, Dec. 22, at 3314 Ross Avenue near Dahlia Bar & Bistro in East Dallas. Founded by hospitality veteran Brian Rutt and his partners Justin Kalhoff and Jonathan Rosenberg, the inspiration for Columbian Country Club was inspired by the original, founded in 1891 on Main Street in downtown Dallas. It goes back to the historic Jewish Country Club.
“We wanted to pay homage to this exclusive social club,” Rutt says. “This is where many Dallas residents spent much of their childhood. It was especially special to me and my family.”
Additionally, the new cocktail lounge represents New York City's Golden Age by combining old-world charm and live piano music with martinis and classic cocktails, according to a press release.
Finally, Lat says in a press release: wolf of wall street”
In addition to standard cocktails and martinis, there is also an extensive menu of champagne and wine. You can also buy bottles of all kinds of liquor and store them in the lounge in storage cases with name plates. Sigh. interesting.
Wallace Johnson Studio designed the lounge with elegant carpeting, dim lighting, plush seating, and period decor. Throughout the space, original country club decor is displayed along with photos of iconic music artists from his '80s and his '90s.
Food served in the lounge pays homage to the original country club, with a menu featuring light bites like caviar and cobb deviled eggs, reminiscent of the famous cobb salad that defined the original Columbia Country Club experience. I am.
