Looking for a discussion about how Tennessee's two newest football assistants, the NCAA's newest L, and some former Vols fared at the NFL Combine?
There's a GoVols247 podcast for that.
GoVols247's Wes Rucker (from Fort Rucker Studios), Patrick Brown (location undisclosed), and Ryan Callahan (from Home Day Care Center) came together through the magic of the Internet to discuss three topics related to Tennessee football.
Tennessee's new assistant coach William Inge and Off the Rails Sims He was then formally introduced to reporters on Monday. Josh Heupel After adding them to the staff two weeks ago, the Vols' new linebackers and running backs coach said a lot of interesting things. You can't properly gauge a man's height in a half-hour or so, but between what we've heard from reporters and behind the scenes over the past few weeks, there's a lot to discuss about two men who seem to be a good match. In the culture that one Heupel has cultivated in Knoxville. These assistant coaches are the main discussion point in the first segment.
The change in topic in the second segment begins with the NCAA effectively acknowledging that its investigation into Tennessee's NIL status has been suspended based on recent court rulings in favor of Tennessee and Virginia. Of course, a preliminary injunction is not a permanent injunction, but many believe it is merely a formality at this point, and the NCAA has no plans to move back to Indianapolis, Tennessee and other states. We have no choice but to kick the can when it comes to investigations into many programs.
The discussion for the second segment then shifts to the NFL Combine, ironically in Indianapolis. Jalen Wright put on a show to seriously get on the draft board, Joe Milton III Covering the full scope of the Joe Milton Experience, Kamal Hadden The star cornerback returned to the field in public for the first time since the injury that caused him to miss the final few games of his career at Tennessee. There's a lot to discuss as this trio comes out of the combine heading into the annual pro day in Knoxville later this month.
As always, there's a lot to discuss, and a lot is discussed in this episode.
The next GoVols247 podcast will be released on Thursday unless big news happens before then.
