Despite saying they were “all in,” the Dallas Cowboys didn't make much of a fuss this offseason, choosing to mostly sit back and watch while securing cash for their star players. But just because Jerry Jones hasn't been talked about as a roster change doesn't mean the Cowboys don't have confidence in the players they have.
The Cowboys have been pretty quiet in free agency, but the 2024 NFL Draft gives Mike McCarthy a new opportunity to inject even more talent into his roster, with Dallas drafting eight players in three days. Nominated.
In the first round, the Cowboys addressed a key need by selecting offensive lineman Tyler Guyton with the 29th overall pick. Guyton should be able to compete for a starting spot as a rookie. Guyton could make an immediate impact, but it was the Cowboys' second-round pick that drew comparisons that were sure to raise some eyebrows recently.

Marshawn Kneeland draws comparisons to DeMarcus Lawrence
As mentioned earlier, the Dallas Cowboys like their roster ready to start training camp on both sides of the ball.
Notably, second-round rookie edge rusher Marshawn Nyland will be compared to DeMarcus Lawrence, who had four sacks in the Pro Bowl.

It's unlikely that Kneeland will play a starting role in Dallas as a rookie, but Mike Zimmer will find creative ways to ensure his new toy is on the field in his first season with the Cowboys .
