Rico Doodle looked great in his return from injury (5.1 yards per carry), and Pollard finished the night with his strongest run of the season, topping the 1,000-yard mark for the second straight year.
“This is a big milestone for us, for myself and for the O-line,” the Pro Bowl running back said. “I know they’re proud of their 1,000-yard backs every year, so that was a big thing for us and just to build on that momentum.”
Pollard becomes the sixth running back in Cowboys history to reach back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, joining the likes of Calvin Hill, Tony Dorsett, DeMarco Murray, Ezekiel Elliott and the one and only Emmitt Smith. Ta.
