Joining them will be some familiar faces, led by quarterback Dak Prescott, who will be making his third Pro Bowl appearance and first since 2018. Guard Zach Martin was selected to his ninth Pro Bowl, CeeDee Lamb made his third Pro Bowl, as did Micah Parsons, who has been selected every year of his career. Punter Brian Unger will be looking to return to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career.
Last year, the Cowboys ended up fielding eight Pro Bowlers, and could reach or even exceed that number again depending on their reserves.
The Pro Bowl will be held in Orlando again this year, and although there will be no actual game, the Pro Bowl Games event will begin on February 1st and will consist of an AFC-NFC competition consisting of challenges for various skill sets, ending on Sunday, February 4th. Flag football competition held on.
Of course, at this point, the Cowboys players are hoping to sit out and advance to next week's Super Bowl.
But for now, the Cowboys have seven Pro Bowlers, some with great stories, but none as big as Aubrey, who signed with the Cowboys from the USFL. Although he was a former soccer player, he never played football in high school or college until he was on the roster of his USFL team in Birmingham. And he turned that chance into a great season, breaking his NFL record for consecutive field goals to begin his career. 19. But Aubrey didn't stop, making 35 consecutive field goals, including 9-of-9 from 50 yards or more. Aubrey also set an NFL record for touchbacks in a single season with 95.
The storm surrounding Brand's season has subsided somewhat in recent weeks, but he hasn't come close to setting an NFL record for most pick-sixes in a season with five interceptions returned for touchdowns. This season, he leads the league with eight interceptions.
Prescott leads the NFL with 32 touchdown passes and ranks second in the league with a QB rating of 104.2.
Most of Duck's yards this year went to CeeDee Lamb. He set Cowboys single-season records for both yards caught (120) and receiving yards (1,651), and had 10 touchdown catches. Lamb has scored a touchdown in his last eight games, the longest streak by a Cowboys receiver in team history.
Parsons once again proved to be one of the most dominant pass rushers in the NFL. He has 13 sacks and 90 quarterback pressures. Parsons joins Mel Renfro as the only defensive players in team history to make the Pro Bowl in their first three seasons.
Martin made his ninth Pro Bowl appearance, making him one of six players in Cowboys history to reach nine Pro Bowls, achieving the feat in 10 seasons.
And after making the Pro Bowl again in 2021, Unger has now appeared in the Pro Bowl twice, making him the only two-time selection in team history, along with Matt McBriar. Unger ranks second in the NFL with a punting average of 51.4 yards per game, but ranks first in the league with a net average of 44.3 yards.
