Cushman & Wakefield begins 2024 with new leadership in Dallas. Chris Hipps, a longtime CBRE executive, has been hired to lead the firm's advisory business throughout Texas. He will work in Dallas and his first official day on the job will be January 2, 2024.
“We have a real opportunity to expand Cushman & Wakefield's influence across Texas as the state continues its historic growth trajectory,” Hipps said in a statement. “Each market in the state is unique and presents us with an opportunity to differentiate ourselves. With the industry-leading talent that Texas has long known and the talent we are adding, we are confident that we will be able to share our market share. We are well-positioned to scale and redefine customer engagement in Lone Star State.”
At CBRE, Hipps served as senior managing director of advisory and transactional services and investor services for the North Texas region. Some of his responsibilities included integrating securities trading, capital markets, and asset services to better serve institutional and middle market clients. Prior to joining CBRE, he spent nearly 25 years at Cadillac Fairview and its successor companies Prentiss Properties and Brandywine Realty Trust.
The Dallas office is one of Cushman & Wakefield's 400 offices. Overall, this publicly traded company (NYSE: CWK) has approximately 52,000 employees across its 60 countries.
