Now that the NFL Draft is over, the Dallas Cowboys and 31 other teams will begin acquiring undrafted free agents. Roster construction never happens in the NFL. The Cowboys have a pretty good history of acquiring undrafted free agents that actually make an impact on the roster. I remember big names like quarterback Tony Romo. But players who have a more subtle impact are usually what you get, players like TJ Bass and Markquese Bell come to mind.
The Cowboys were able to fill many of their most important needs in the draft, especially along the offensive line with left tackle Tyler Guyton and possibly center Cooper Beebe. They also added depth at key positions such as defensive end and linebacker.
We track all of the Cowboys' undrafted free agent signings here, so check back often. We also do a complete breakdown of what the Cowboys acquired in the 2024 UDFA class.
