The Dallas Cowboys are expected to move Pro Bowl center Tyler Biadasz during free agency next month. This year has been another year in which questions remain about the Cowboys' offensive line. Many in the media and fans expect Dallas to move on from its starting center. Bringing him back will not be an easy process as they will have to focus on the financial burden that comes with it.
Coaching moves like finding a new defensive coordinator have left them unable to do anything. Other free agents like Tyron Smith are also attracting attention, but Dallas may have to reconsider. Even if they let Biadasz go, the hole would still be deep, but it would also potentially open up cap space. It's going to be tough to see who the Cowboys will prioritize this offseason.
Biadasz may not be a star yet, but he still provides value to an offense that has struggled with injuries in the past. He may prove he can remain a starter in the NFL, but it won't be easy. It's up to Dallas to decide if they want to keep him next season, but they may not have that luxury. Jerry Jones and the organization already believe in saving cap space, so they can't afford to pay a high price for a star.
Unfortunately, Dallas will have to decide which players are worth keeping. The main consideration will be what kind of piece Biadas can be for the future of the offensive line. Will the Cowboys take the risk and find more talent in the NFL Draft?
Dallas Cowboys could move on from center Tyler Biadasz
NFL Twitter responds to rumors
Many fans on social media hope the Cowboys bring him back after free agency. But some are making mock draft predictions about how replaceable he is. They said Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson could replace Biadasz if Dallas drafts him. The question is whether he'll be available by the time the Cowboys are ready to draft.
The Dallas Cowboys have the No. 24 pick in this year's NFL Draft, and their success with it is clear. This doesn't mean Powers-Johnson will be there once the Cowboys make their pick. They may need to reconcile or they probably won't choose him at all. Also, he may not do much in the NFL, but that's possible because expectations are high for him.
Whatever the future scenario, that's likely to be the case for the Cowboys. What fans want is for the starting line of offense to be healthy to protect star QB Dak Prescott. Prescott also needs a new contract, so it will be a difficult decision.

Is Biadashu really responsible?
That's probably the main question Dallas and the rest of the staff will have to decide next month. By many reports, he wasn't considered an issue during a season when the offensive line struggled. Perhaps the only realistic option for the Cowboys to find success in the short term is to become a free agent. However, Dallas has relied on the draft to build the foundation of his roster.
Another player Dallas could consider in this year's draft is Washington native Troy Fautanu. He was an offensive tackle in college, but he could change positions once he gets to Dallas. He has similar characteristics to Biadas and could be a legitimate first-round pick. But is he Biadashu? no.
The Cowboys may have to compare their offensive linemen and ask themselves if they are a liability. This is probably the likely scenario that Dallas will actually choose to decide who to send out.
