Game 4 was nearly identical to Games 1, 2 and 3, except in Minnesota. finally They held on to a fourth-quarter lead. After surrendering leads late in the first three games of the series, the Minnesota Stars pulled away for a 105-100 road victory on Tuesday. Anthony Edwards finished just shy of a triple-double with a team-high 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists on 11-of-25 shooting. Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points in a stellar performance that saw him make 9-of-13 field goals and 4-of-5 three-pointers.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Game 5 Predictions
Dallas missed a golden opportunity to beat Minnesota at home on Tuesday. The Timberwolves looked dominant for much of the series, but crucial fourth-quarter plays by the Mavericks decided the first three games. Doncic has been battling knee and ankle injuries, and while his playing time hasn’t been reduced, his movements on the court are noticeably different.
I expect the series to go to at least six games, and the odds for Minnesota to win the series are +425, which is an implied win probability of just 19.05%. (If Dallas has a 65% chance of winning their home games and a 50/50 chance of winning their away games, their true win probability is 21.2%.) It’s true that no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA, but that was once the case in the NHL and MLB as well, but not anymore.
Last time out, I bet Gobert would surpass that rebound total in the absence of Lively, Dallas’ playoff rebounding leader. In Game 5, I’ll flip the bet and bet Gobert will finish with 10.5 rebounds, a number he hasn’t reached since Game 6 against the Nuggets.
DAL vs MIN Match 5 Predictions:
- Timberwolves Money Line (-192)
- Timberwolves to win the series (+425)
- Gobert had less than 10.5 rebounds (+120)
