Shopping centers in the Dallas area have seen a flurry of new store openings in recent years, and the pace is showing no signs of slowing down.
Several notable new store openings are planned for 2024, and some have been in the works for a long time. Here are some scoops and some updates on what's to come.
Givenchy is coming to NorthPark Center.
Target is under construction in Oak Cliff's Wynnewood Village and is expected to open later this year.
Larger stores such as Target and HEB grocery stores opening this spring in Alliance and Mansfield will take time, but so will high-end stores.
Highland Park Village
A new, larger Chanel boutique is under construction in Highland Park Village starting in 2022. His two-story boutique is scheduled to open this spring. A new Dior store will open this fall on the site of Ralph Lauren. Agua by Agua Bendita opened a pop-up store in the space next to YO! last month. Lobster will be open until January. Victoria Snee, Highland Park Village's chief marketing officer, said this is the Columbia-based brand's only U.S. store.

Shoppers keep coming back to NorthPark Center for the latest information.
Rothy's, a shoe brand with a sustainability message, has submitted plans to the state, although they have not yet been announced. Rossy's is scheduled to open in August on the 1,162-square-foot site in time for back-to-school shopping, according to planning documents filed by the state. This is one of the pure e-commerce stores that is making further inroads into brick-and-mortar stores.
The brand, which is loved by Duchess Meghan and Gwyneth Paltrow, currently has 18 stores, with plans to open 10 more this year. NorthPark will be the first Rothy's in Dallas-Fort Worth. For now, Texas only has one other home in Austin, his Northside Domain.
The rainbow flats are made from 100% recycled water bottles.
Amiri, a Los Angeles-based luxury men's, women's and accessories brand, plans to open in the 4,300-square-foot space this summer, according to planning documents filed with the state.
We announced the Prada story in March and it's been under construction ever since. The opening date has not yet been determined. The future Prada will occupy 11,075 square feet and will be part of the former Nike space next to Louis Vuitton.
Other stores opening soon in North Park include Reformation, Marine Layer and Ann Taylor.
Two more barricades were set up as Givenchy and Etro were expected to arrive soon. Givenchy will be next to Prada, Etro will be next to Oliver Peoples and across from Williams Sonoma. Givenchy has only a few standalone stores in the United States, and the Paris-based luxury brand is also sold at Neiman's Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Galleria Dallas
According to store staff, H&M Home is scheduled to open this spring around mid-April. The first H&M Home store in North Texas will open at Galleria Dallas, occupying approximately 7,500 square feet of an existing H&M store on the second floor on the Nordstrom side of the mall. This is a trend. Last year, Banana Republic added furniture to its Galleria store.
The last chance to visit the American Girl store in the Galleria is January 30th. American Girl is accepting reservations for salon services, dining and in-store parties at the Galleria store until Sunday, Jan. 28, according to its website.
Dallas will continue to be home to the only American Girl store in Texas and one of nine in the United States. A new American Girl store will open at The Shops at Park Lane. One website that closely follows the brand says it could be completed as early as February.
