Construction on a multi-story office building that will serve as Stillwater Capital’s headquarters is scheduled to begin early next year on Travis Street near Turtle Creek in Dallas.
The Dallas-based real estate firm, which has been involved in projects including PGA Frisco, Haggard Farms and Forney Logistics Crossing, has had its eye on the ground-up project near Katy Trail for several years.
The company has now added Pacific Elm Properties, also based in Dallas and led by CEO Jonas Woods, as a co-developer on the project.
Construction on the Class AA boutique office building at 4145 Travis Street along Fitzhugh Avenue is expected to begin early next year.
The office space spans 60,000 square feet, with 50% already pre-leased prior to construction. The average floor size is 14,00 square feet.
The building will have access to the Katy Trail as well as upscale on-site dining options.
The new Stillwater headquarters building is expected to go before the Oak Lawn Commission in 2022.
At the time, the company noted in a presentation to a neighborhood group that it was seeking additional space for its team.
“In addition to its business expansion needs, the company is looking to significantly improve the quality of office space in the region,” the presentation said.
Stillwater, which was previously based in a small office building at 4145 Travis St., has relocated to a suite at 2515 McKinney St. in Uptown Dallas.
