Editor's note: Ahead of National Cookie Day, the sandwich chain announced that its popular foot-long cookies will be permanently added to Subway menus and rolled out nationwide in early 2024.
Subway says it “sells more freshly baked cookies than any other restaurant company in the country.” US. ” To enhance this service, the chain is planning innovative marketing on December 4, also known as National Cookie Day.
The company has more than 37,000 locations in more than 100 countries and territories. But only four restaurants are planning a one-day “restaurant rebranding” on Dec. 4, when a foot-long cookie rolls out of the oven. One is located in downtown Dallas at 1222 Commerce Street. (The others are in Chicago, Miami, and New York City).
From 1pm to 6pm on December 4th, our four stores will be rebranded to 'Cookieway' and with the purchase of a Footlong subwoofer you will receive a free Footlong cookie while supplies last .
The stunt follows a one-location event Subway held at one of its Miami restaurants on National Cookie Day last year.

“Due to the overwhelming response we received from fans across the country last year, we knew we needed to permanently add Footlong Cookies to our menu.” Paul Favresaid Subway's senior vice president of culinary and innovation in a statement. “At this year's Cookie Way, guests will get a glimpse of even more delicious footlong cookies. They're thick, gooey, packed with chocolate chips and served warm straight from the oven. A perfect pairing with your favorite Footlong sub, it might even become your favorite Footlong on your first bite.”
If you can't make it to downtown Dallas on December 4th, you might be walking without cookies. But the chain is now giving you a chance to do better with your cookie purchases. December 31.All cookies sold at Subway during the period supports the Subway Cares Foundation, which operates Subway's Fresh Start Scholarship Program and other programs.
The Fresh Start Scholarship program provides tuition assistance to “sandwich artists” working in the United States. Canada, Australia, and puerto ricoprovides each recipient with $2,500 Towards secondary education.
