Dallas-based Trinity Consultants has acquired New York-based Longman Lindsay, a full-service acoustical consulting firm with construction industry expertise.
Trinity is a leading global environmental consulting firm providing services and solutions to the built environment, EHS regulatory compliance, life sciences, and water and ecosystems markets. Longman Lindsay will operate within Trinity's Built Environment business and will combine the acoustic capabilities of Cerami and Longman Lindsay, which Trinity acquired in 2022, into one integrated entity.
Longman Lindsey is one of the nation's largest and most prominent independent acoustical consulting groups and, together with Cerami, has more than 100 years of experience working with world-class developers and architects. He designs complex and iconic buildings. We will then proceed with our own troubleshooting efforts on a global scale.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
John Longman, founder and president of Longman Lindsay, will continue to be a key leader in Trinity's built environment division, Trinity said. He will work closely with Jim Perry, Cerami's managing director, and Herbert Els, president of Built Environment.
Orchestrate a “technology-optimized symphony of sound”
“Longman Lindsay is committed to orchestrating a technologically optimized symphony of sound, space and sustainability to deliver buildings that exceed expectations from the early planning and design stages to post-construction operations. We share their ambitions and abilities,” Perry said in a statement. “The firm's strong reputation, experienced team, commitment to excellent projects and synergistic organizational structure will enhance the competitiveness of Trinity's Built Environment division. We are excited to partner with John and his team. We are excited to create lasting value for our clients and partners around the world.”
Trinity Consultants believes that this partnership will expand technical expertise, enable geographic growth opportunities, and strengthen the collective commitment of each organization to more effectively respond and adapt to intensifying market demands and customer expectations. He said it was driven by a strong mission.
“We partner with a global natural and built environment consulting firm and a leading acoustic design and technology consultancy that strengthens and expands our ability to serve our clients and their projects,” Longman said in a statement. I'm happy to be able to do it.” “This partnership allows us to further strengthen our strengths and expand our market reach in an innovative way.”
This merger represents Trinity Consultants, which continues to expand and evolve to bring new capabilities to market through strategic organic growth and acquisitions, while helping clients achieve new levels of success. He said the move comes at an important time in the company's nearly 50-year history.
