Dallas-based Unifeye Vision Partners has acquired Insight Vision Group, a leading integrated eye care platform with locations throughout California.
The acquisition establishes Unifeye Vision Partners' presence on the West Coast, the company said. UVP is a Waud Capital portfolio company.
The acquisition was announced by Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Company. The firm's healthcare investment banking team served as exclusive financial advisor to Insight Vision Group.
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
With a network of 123 healthcare providers, 44 clinics, and 13 ambulatory surgery centers, Unifeye Vision Partners provides management and support services to a national network of ophthalmology and optometry and single-specialty eye surgery centers. Masu.

Insight was formed through the merger of Los Angeles-based DLV Vision and San Luis Obispo-based ADV Vision and was founded in 1996 by refractive and cataract surgeon Dr. Paul J. Dougherty.
Dougherty was one of the first surgeons in the country to perform laser vision correction on a research basis and helped pioneer many of today's cutting-edge refractive surgery techniques, the company said.
