Dallas to host 2024 US-Africa Business Summit to boost trade and investment between Africa and the US
Florizel Reiser, President and CEO of the Corporate Council on Africa, led a planning team to Dallas, Texas, to meet with the business community and city government and discuss the 2024 U.S.-Africa Business Plan.・Visited the summit venue. Facilitated by CCA President John Olajido and the Dallas-based Access Team, Reiser will finalize various logistical aspects for the summit and welcome the involvement of the Dallas business community and city government. I accepted the visit.

Commerce's Mr. Reiser discussed preparations for the 2024 U.S.-Africa Business Summit, which will be held in Dallas from May 6-9. The Dallas business community has significant contributions to the strategic importance and business case for strengthening U.S.-Africa business and investment relationships, which led to the establishment of the Dallas Host Committee to support the success of the Summit. Hillwood Chairman Ross Perot Jr. convened the Dallas Host Committee for the 2024 Summit Kickoff Reception. Mr. Perot emphasized the importance of American companies partnering with African companies to foster mutually beneficial trade and business relationships.
