The new season of the drama thriller will co-star Jamie Dornan, who plays a car accident victim who loses his memory. Helen Chambers, played by MacDonald, tries to help her put her life back together, but they both gradually realize that some things are better left in the past. MacDonald spoke about the show's spooky atmosphere, explaining how certain scenes “really scared me” and her new experience returning to the character.
Originally a talent in the indie film scene, McDonald's career has been on an upward trajectory for years thanks to starring roles in films. Dumplin', patty cake $, more. Recently, he also made a cameo appearance in Jelly Roll's music video. “I don't even know how that happened. It was really weird,” she says. “I think my agent said, 'We feel like this is something you might be interested in.'” And I thought, “Oh, yeah.” When I heard this song, I thought, “Absolutely.'' ”
