The Cowboys are looking for a new running back after Tony Pollard left to sign a three-year, $24m (about £18.9m) contract with the Tennessee Titans. The move seemed to pave the way for the Cowboys to pursue Henry, but they never even made contact.
“The Cowboys never called me,” Henry, 30, said during an appearance on the “Shine on Sports” podcast. “I stay there in the offseason. I'm in the final stages of my career, but it's a great organization. It would have been a great opportunity, but I'm grateful to finally be here in Baltimore.”
In the end, Henry signed a two-year, $16 million (£12.6 million) NFL contract with the Baltimore Ravens, a decision he said was “natural”. “This is where I wanted to be,” Henry told reporters at his inaugural press conference Thursday.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh couldn't hide his excitement about Henry joining the team. “I'm trying to figure out which staff is more excited, the offensive coaches or the defensive coaches,” Harbaugh said.
