Mine Multiversity: Welcome to the Marvel Podcast! In each episode, we look at Marvel books, old and new. We discuss fun Marvel comics, Marvel news, Marvel history, and Marvel books that won/lost bets.
Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of each month. At least for a little while.
Folks, we're doing it. I finally read his first 10 issues of his 2012 serial “Captain America” by “The Castaway of Dimension Z,” aka Rick Remender, one of the bugbears of the MMM canon. Before we talk about this very divisive arc, let's recap Remender, JRJR, and Cap again. Will Elias admit that he's not as good as he thought? Could Jaina see more value in it (and art)? True believers, listen up!
And for a fun little time capsule, read Elias' review of the first issue of 2020's epic Now That's What I Call Marvel.
Next time is “The End”. Which end? Apparently, there are a lot of them.
You can start a conversation by shouting in the comments section below, or share it on the scorching hell site formerly known as Twitter using the hashtag #MakeMineMultiversity. I think I'll try skeeting on BlueSky! Or toot with a mastodon. Or, why not do something even funkier with Tumblr? We are considering our options.
Elias can be found (probably not) on Twitter, formerly known as @Quetzelish, Jaina (almost certainly) @Rambling_Moose, or on tumblr at ramblingmoose. Our theme music is “Excelsior” by Carol Romo and our audio editor is Livian Saphir.
The show is available on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and more, so be sure to subscribe. You can listen above or download it here.
