Maybe you…
RuPaul's Drag Race star Ekaterina Petrovna Zamolochkova, or simply Katya, will host Grindr's podcast Who's The Asshole?, Variety exclusively reports.
This podcast is a sex-positive discussion about love and sex, an unfiltered, judgment-free way to explore those pesky gray areas like “lust, love, and everything in between…cheeks.” It is described as having “no space”. Its first episode will be available on all major podcast platforms on February 15th.
Katya answers the question “Are you an a*****e?”
Each week, Katya has celebrity guests on her show to discuss issues and situations brought to her by Grindr users. Her first guests are Trace Lycett, comedian Jordan Firstman, country star Orville Peck, and rapper Southey Santana.
Tristan Pineiro, Grindr's VP of Brand Marketing and Communications, said: “Katia was a no-brainer for us when choosing our host. She is the perfect combination of honesty, humor, and incredible personal stories. He put it together.”
“Whether it's dating or dating, we can all be assholes sometimes. Grindr's new podcast is a no-holds-barred destination that delves into the good, the bad, and sometimes the messy.” continued.
Katia is famous for appearing on Season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race (5th place) and being runner-up on Season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. She currently appears on her series UNHhh on World of Wonder's Web of Wonders, alongside her co-host and fellow season 7 queen Trixie Mattel. They also host a show on Viceland The Trixie & Katya Show. Drag Race is currently in its 16th season.
“I love diving deep into dirty, juicy, filthy tea, so when Grindle said I could get paid to do it?! I jumped at the chance with all the enemas and poppers I could find. There are a lot of topics that people are too embarrassed to talk about, but I'm not embarrassed to go there, ”said Katya.
“No story is too far-fetched. In fact, we all have stories like that… I mean, shit,” she added.
According to Katya in the video teaser, Who's The Asshole is “a Grindr podcast that takes itself seriously, not just talks trash.”
For the uninitiated, Grindr is an LGBTQ+ dating app. It's like Tinder…well, it's not like Tinder at all. Probably Tinder-adjacent, but for the rainbow brigade.
