Contrary to what some may believe, Draymond Green can actually juggle two jobs at once.
On Tuesday night, ahead of the Warriors' Western Conference Play-In Tournament game against the Sacramento Kings, Green released a 40-minute “Draymond Green Show” podcast featuring a win-or-go-home showdown. He previewed it and also shared his thoughts on the rest of the match. NBA postseason photos.
Green's podcasting while the Warriors prepare to play the Kings didn't sit well with at least one member of Dub Nation, but the four-time NBA champion explained why it's OK. It was a perfect reminder to fans of who he is.
It's not uncommon for Green to hear from fans about his podcast schedule during the postseason.
Back in 2022, Green taped his own show throughout the Warriors' NBA Finals run, drawing the ire of fans and national pundits, including ESPN's Stephen A. Smith.
After Game 3 of the NBA Finals, where the Warriors lost by just two points to the Boston Celtics, Green recorded a podcast where he slammed his critics.
“Draymond is focused on podcasting, blah, blah, blah,” Green said on the June 9, 2022 episode of “The Draymond Green Show.” “Listen, you're all going to receive this podcast. As I told you all at the beginning of the playoffs, this podcast isn't going anywhere. I'm going to leave the arena, go back to my hotel room, and go home when I get back to San Francisco. I’m going to go back and film this podcast.”
If the Warriors end the 2023-24 NBA season in Sacramento on Tuesday night, it probably won't be because Green spent less than an hour recording a podcast.
