According to the Mail Online diary editor, “this small podcast company is struggling to get off the starting block”.
Mr Eden explained that the company did not want the launch of the podcast to be overshadowed by the Duchess' new TV series.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are set to release two new Netflix series as part of their $100 million, five-year deal with the streaming giant.
Meghan's series, which began filming last week at a rented house in Montecito, will explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship.”
Meanwhile, Prince Harry's series will explore the professional world of polo, a sport the prince has played for most of his life.
Lemonada is understood to be concerned about a “scheduling conflict” between the launch of the podcast and Meghan's new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
In March, the Duchess of Sussex also launched a new luxury lifestyle brand with a website and Instagram page.
Meghan's spokesperson declined to comment, but a source said the duchess had prepared a list of “very high-profile guests” for her new podcast.
