Last Thursday, on a perfectly clear night on the grounds of Trammell S. Crowe's Dallas home, EarthX previewed the 2024 Congress and deep dives into key developments on EarthxTV, where the company announced that it was “Half a Earth”. It was celebrated on a day called “Day of the Day''.
Crow, founder and CEO of EarthX and EarthX Media, hosted an evening of awareness, education, networking, and announcements for EarthX. The event brought together chief sustainability officers, conservationists, green builders, green energy executives, volunteers and more to “Toast Mother Earth, Texas Style.”

The festival kicked off with “Common Ground,” a feature-length documentary narrated by Rosario Dawson, Laura Dern, Jason Momoa, and others that delves into the regenerative agriculture movement.
EarthxTV is the main focus of the Half-Earth Day event
Still, much of what was announced during the Half-Earth Day event focused on EarthX Media, specifically EarthxTV, an ad-supported linear entertainment network dedicated to environmental sustainability 24/7. EarthxTV's programming includes hundreds of hours of original and acquired series, as well as short films and feature-length documentaries focused on “stories that matter.”
A year ago, Dallas Innovates wrote about the launch of EarthxTV and its rapidly growing distribution. In August 2022, the network launched on Sky and Freeview in the UK. Singh also drew the audience's attention to the video monitors installed throughout the grounds, playing EarthxTV content, EarthX videos, and more.
But Russell's exit left behind some big news, including the fact that EarthxTV is now available in 60 million homes in more than 70 countries around the world. The CEO said the network is available in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, and “we hope to actually conquer the entire Western Hemisphere very soon.”

We've introduced you to some of the best characters television has to offer in the form of: lance the killer bee catcher, Pastor Gadget's Garagea heavy metal marine biologist known as Pufferfish [who hosts Ocean Wonders]And a bunch of great characters who are authentic and dedicated to communicating environmentally related issues to the public. ”
“But basically, this is television, so they're fun,” Russell said of his network's talent.
Mr. Russell also recently EarthX News“The world's only authentic news series” that is 100% specialized in environmental news.
The CEO said the network's “raw, lean, mean team” of 20 to 25 people is building “something very special and long-lasting.” One way he does that is by creating a signature event.
“We introduced stunt weeks; [have gotten] Check out some of our top-rated titles like Snake Week, Wild Weather Week, and Ocean's Week. And there's a lot more to come. ”

Stephen Evans, Director of Partnerships and Sponsorship Development at EarthxTV, says the network is growing rapidly and is “the world's only entertainment network dedicated to the environment and sustainability.”
“EarthxTV is essentially a startup, growing at a very steep hockey stick curve for a television network,” Evans told Dallas Innovates the day after Half-Earth Day. He noted that television industry insiders have described the network's distribution and viewership growth “in just the first year” as “amazing.”
Evans said the network's programming is broadcast to the world “right here in Dallas, Texas” and offers “a robust library of unique, exclusive, character-driven programming.”
One piece of work that Evans is particularly excited about is EarthX News.
“We're very proud of it. It's produced in New York City, and we currently have four episodes in production,” Evans said. “It airs every Monday night.” This news program can be viewed in prime time when it first airs, and then the network plays it eight to 10 times a week and at other times throughout its schedule. Masu.
Movies and television have been a longtime focus for Tramell S. Crowe
Evans noted that film and television were a big focus for Trammell S. Crowe long before EarthxTV was launched.
“I like to point out to people that when he worked at Crow Holdings, he built two buildings, he built a studio in Las Colinas. And he built Infomart,” Evans said. he said.
“when [Crow] He wanted to build a studio in Las Colinas and make Dallas a third coast for film production. He always had the media bug. He has been on these two courses of his, and now they are one. ”
Evans said the Half Earth Day event was “widely attended by leaders in the North Texas environmental community,” including Dallas City Council members, representatives from the Trust for Public Land, the Sierra Club and many other organizations.
He said those in attendance on the night had a range of environmental issues on their minds.
“It's great to see everyone because everyone's coming at it from a different direction,” Evans said. “Sometimes it's wildlife conservation. Sometimes it's parks. Sometimes it's Trinity Forest. Different people working on different things.” We were able to exchange and find ways to work together,” he added.
