Former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Charlon Dorsey passed away on Monday.
He was 46 years old.
It is reported that he died of complications from a stroke.
The 6-foot-6, 367-pounder is from Jacksonville and played at Florida State University. He was a member of the Seminoles' 1999 national title team and was named All-ACC by the Seminoles in 2000. He was selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round, 242nd overall, in the 2001 draft.
He played with the Cowboys until 2002, then spent time with the Houston Texans and New York Giants, ending his career after the 2003 season.
Dorsey was a three-time all-state selection with the Jacksonville Bowles and a local legend. He is said to have spent most of his last 20 years coaching near his home.
