La'el Collins' reunion with the Dallas Cowboys didn't last long.
Collins announced Thursday in an Instagram post that he has signed with the Buffalo Bills. His contract is reportedly for one year.
After spending the 2022 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, Collins was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad late last season. He did not appear in any games for Dallas last season.
Collins primarily played left guard early in his career in Dallas, but converted to right tackle in 2017 and signed a massive five-year, $50 million extension with the club in 2019.
However, as a cost-cutting measure, he was released during the 2022 offseason with three years remaining on his contract.
Collins signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and started 15 games at right tackle in 2022. Due to a series of injuries during his tenure with the team, he was released in September 2023.
Collins becomes the third offensive lineman to leave the organization in free agency this offseason. Longtime left tackle Tyron Smith signed with the New York Jets, and center Tyler Biadasz signed with the Washington Commanders.
