Former Dallas Cowboys star mike jenkins Get involved in a violent confrontation at a Florida bar over the weekend… Get the video TMZ Sports is shown.
The incident occurred Sunday night at The Kenwood in St. Petersburg after Mr. Jenkins apparently became angry with one of the store's employees over the way his credit card was being handled.
Witnesses said workers either misplaced or lost Jenkins' plastic. This upset the former 2008 NFL Draft first-round pick.
Witnesses said Jenkins, a University of South Florida graduate, caused a commotion inside the bar, then ran outside and yelled at a security guard at the entrance.
In footage from the scene, the former defensive back can be heard swearing left and right while insisting he did nothing wrong. And at one point you can hear him yelling, “Give me my mother card!”
A St. Petersburg Police Department official said officers were called to the bar around 1:39 a.m. Monday for a “fight or disturbance.” However, a spokesperson said no arrests were made. The official added that Jenkins was issued a trespassing warning and no further warnings.
We have made multiple attempts to reach out to Mr. Jenkins for comment, but so far have not heard back.
Jenkins, 39, played in 71 games in five seasons with Dallas and made one Pro Bowl in 2009. After playing with Big D, he also logged snaps with the Raiders and Buccaneers.
In 2016, Jenkins tried to settle with the Cardinals, but was injured during the preseason and never played in the NFL again.
