The 2024 Leadership Team has approved him to conduct his 3-hour (CE approved) course “Understanding Buyer-Broker Agreements and How to Implement Them'' five times via Zoom video conference.

Course description: Have you ever felt the urge to say, “Either buy it from me or get out of the car?” You spent days working with buyers, driving them to all the houses they wanted to see, only to find out a week later that they bought the house using their great-aunt Lucy, who has a real estate license. Did you know that? Loyalty appears to be at an all-time low. The Internet helps buyers obtain a wealth of information, but we as licensees today need to further prove our value and value. Why should buyers choose one cooperating and loyal agent? Is there a way for buyers to do that? We require sellers to contractually commit to one agent. But why not demand the same commitment from buyers? Let's see how.
After taking this class, students will be able to:
- Explain the importance of working only with buyers
- Determine which contract is appropriate in which cases
- Understand how written contracts protect both customers and intermediaries
- Recognize what exclusive representation means when working with buyers
- Understand the types of agency relationships allowed in exclusive buyer-broker agreements
- Make it clear to buyers the importance of the contract and how to present it
- Evaluate how an arbitration hearing process and clear written agreements between buyers and sellers can reduce confusion in procurement causes.
