The Cowboys are scheduled to head to Oxnard, Calif., on July 24, with less than a month until training camp. This will be the 17th time the Cowboys have held camp in Oxnard and the 44th year the Cowboys have held camp in California.
The 2023 camp, sponsored by American Airlines, will once again be held at the Oxnard Residence Inn (2101 West Vineyard Ave.) in River Ridge, and fans will be able to attend all public practice sessions free of charge, starting with the first run. It will run from 11:30 a.m. PT on Wednesday, July 26th until the final open practice on Tuesday, August 15th. General admission will open two hours prior to practice.
Training camp in Oxnard will be highlighted by the annual camp opening ceremony/special fan event – Cowboys Back Together Weekend, presented by American Airlines – The team will welcome fans back to training camp on Saturday, July 29th.of Cowboys Back Together Weekend The event begins at 9 a.m. PT and fans can enjoy live music, appearances by Cowboys alumni and Dallas Cowboys mascot Rowdy, autograph sessions from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, exclusive merchandise, prizes and giveaways. Enjoy. The opening ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. PT and will feature a performance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and a public practice session at 11:30 a.m. PT before the Cowboys' owner, president and general manager. Includes greetings from Jerry Jones.
In addition, the team will host a Hero Appreciation Day on Monday, August 7th to show appreciation for military personnel and first responders.
Training camp in Oxnard concludes on Tuesday, August 15th, and the Cowboys depart for a preseason game in Seattle on Saturday, August 19th.
After the team returned to Texas after preseason games in Seattle, the final portion of Cowboys training camp was held at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with some practices open to the public. , to be announced at a later date. .
