GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A global tape manufacturer has moved its North American headquarters from North Carolina to Grand Rapids. This is expected to create up to 60 jobs and bring in $1.2 million in capital investment.
Tesa Tape, which manufactures tapes for the automotive, consumer electronics, construction, and home and office sectors, opened its headquarters at 25 Ottawa Avenue, S.D., in late March and currently employs approximately 45 people. Masu.

As part of the move to Grand Rapids, Tessa received a $500,000 performance-based grant from MEDC. The average wage for the new positions is $47.50 an hour, or about $98,800 a year, MEDC said.
MEDC said Tesa will move its North American headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Grand Rapids to better connect its facilities in Sparta and Novi.
