Google Podcasts will be shutting down globally starting June 2024. Added deadlines to the official YouTube Music Help support page. This latest information comes weeks after the service was shut down in the United States. The team is encouraging users to migrate their podcast data to YouTube Music or other podcast services to continue listening to podcasts.

Updated support page says Google Podcasts will continue to work For users outside the United States, until “mid-to-late June 2024.” All users worldwide must migrate to YouTube Music or export their podcast subscriptions to another service by July 29, 2024.
It's unclear at this time whether Google Podcasts will be shut down for all users worldwide at the same time, or phased in based on region. I checked the app and it shows a deadline of June 24th, after which the Google Podcasts app will stop working.
For those who don't know, Google announced its decision to shut down its Podcasts application last September. The goal is to offer YouTube Music as a standalone app for all your audio needs. YouTube music New Podcasts option added to Explore tab You'll see a list of popular podcasts across different categories and genres. Many of these are also inspired by your YouTube watch history.
How do I transfer my Google Podcasts subscription to YouTube Music or another service?
- Tap on new Export subscription option at the top of the Google Podcasts app. This will display the export user interface.
- choose export It's under the “Export to YouTube Music” option.
- here, transfer Select the YouTube Music app option and follow the onscreen instructions to complete.
Note: Transfer your Google Podcasts subscription to a third-party app, or Export to another app This is an option.
