They have opened two stores in the Dallas area, both on the south side of I-30. His store at 4101 W. Wheatland Rd. on Highway 67 is scheduled to open in late summer 2024.
A second store will open at 5204 S. Buckner Blvd. Located on the corner of Samuel Street, it is scheduled to open in spring 2025.
Joe V's is smaller and has a smaller selection than a full-size HEB, carrying about 9,000 items compared to 37,000 items at traditional supermarkets.
Future features include:
- Tortillas made in-store at HEB Bakery
- HEB Sushiya Sushi made in-store
- Chef-designed HEB meal simple platter
- Bread and pastries baked in-house
Each store is typically 55,000 square feet and employs approximately 150 people.
