Berkshire currently owns dozens of companies outright, but it also has partial investments in many publicly traded companies as well. Most of them are household names like Kroger, Apple, Mastercard, and Bank of America. Some are a little more subtle, especially international stocks.

Berkshire's international portfolio holds nine stocks.There is diageois an alcoholic beverage company that owns some of the world's most iconic brands, including Guinness and Smirnoff. Aon Co., Ltd. is a global consulting firm headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. liberty latin america is a telecommunications company with operations in the Caribbean and Central America.
Berkshire is also investing in Asia. BYD Co., Ltd. is a Chinese automobile manufacturer with operations in the People's Republic of China, Taiwan and overseas. This portfolio also includes a number of Japanese stocks, most of which are unfamiliar. Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui & Co. (mining), trading companies, etc. Sumitomo Corporation, Itochu Corporationand Marubeni Corporation.
Should I invest?

There's a more important question to answer first – can you invest? While shares in some large companies such as Diageo and Aon can be purchased through the US stock exchange, many companies cannot. Depending on your broker, you may not be able to trade on Japanese or Chinese exchanges and may have high fees that you should avoid if possible. That being said, history has proven that Buffett and Berkshire make good investment decisions, so you could probably do a lot worse than following in their footsteps.
