A new Texas company has launched to provide on-demand, “hassle-free” assistance to adults to give them the freedom to “live confidently in their own homes.”
The company, called Villi, currently serves Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, and said it has plans to expand to other cities and states in the near future.
“Vili provides peace of mind for adults of all ages who need help managing their home life from time to time,” Vili national director Mary Meeker said in a statement. “Our trusted associates are passionate about the work they do and help ease the responsibilities many of us have at home. Vili was founded on the premise that we could all benefit from a little help, and we provide it with genuine heart and compassion.”
Villi is part of the 35-year-old Maxim Healthcare Group, headquartered in Columbia, Md. Until its recent rebranding, Villi was known as Maxim at Home.
From light housework to meal preparation and pet care
The company offers an intuitive online platform that makes it easy to find companions who offer a variety of personalized services, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, pet sitting, transportation, errand running and friendly companionship.
Vili said its service offers customers flexibility, seven days a week, allowing them to use its services for as long as they need or for as little as one hour.
Vili said it connects customers with local, trusted, caring people by providing real-time information and assistance when and where they need it most. The company said there are no contracts required for Vili’s service, and everything is included in its hourly rate.
“Vili is truly unique not only because we offer a wide range of services, but also because all of our companions are employees,” Meeker says. “All of Vili’s companions are employees of the company, not independent contractors. We take great pride in personally vetting all of our companions to ensure we provide our clients with the best companion.”
