episode notes
We are constantly bombarded with messages about our bodies that are “too big.” It's too small. Not enough muscles, not enough curves, etc. Rebecca has lived in a bigger body all her life and wants us to stop texting. She's done everything from following plus-size influencers to de-emphasizing weight from her health goals to trying to change the way she thinks about weight. But it doesn't work. In this episode, Carvel Wallace brings out host Ronald Young Jr. weight for it. Ronald challenges the notion that we must love our bodies and helps Rebecca move away from stigmatized “fixing” and toward a place of acceptance.
