Local residents seeking recovery assistance following the May 8 tornado can apply for grants of up to $1,500 through the Hot Springs Association of Realtors.
The group will hold registration sessions on June 4th and 5th from 10am to 4pm at its offices at 437 Orange Street.
“HSBOR has committed to providing grants of up to $150,000 through its partnership with the Realtor Relief Fund. Recipients can use the money for housing payments, rent or hotel bills,” the news release said.
According to the press release, volunteers from the board of directors of Hearts and Homes of Arkansas, a charitable organization affiliated with the Arkansas Association of Realtors, and association officials will be on hand to provide “technical assistance and on-site computers to help individuals complete grant applications.”
