City of Dallas offices will be closed on Monday, October 9, 2023, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day. See below for a complete list of department and facility closures.
Dallas Public Library:
All Dallas Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, October 9th.
Hygiene:
Sanitation offices are closed. Garbage collection will take place as scheduled on Monday, October 9th. The landfill will operate during normal business hours. Please check here for disposal information and business hours.
Parks and Recreation:
Dallas Parks and Recreation management offices, recreation centers and maintenance facilities will be closed starting October 9th. Golf courses and tennis courts will be open.
Dallas Water Utilities:
Dallas Water Utility's administrative and customer service offices will be closed on Oct. 9 in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day.
