The LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks face off tonight in a crucial Game 5 in which both teams' best players won't be at 100%. Unfortunately for the Clippers, their best player will suffer another injury.
The Clippers have one player on the injury report and that is Kawhi Leonard. Leonard is listed as unavailable with inflammation in his right knee. Kawhi Leonard was demoted from the questionable list to the out list every game. We should expect him to remain sidelined for the remainder of the series. Paul George, James Harden and Russell Westbrook are all listed as available for the game against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Dallas Mavericks have three players listed on the injury report: Luka Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Olivier-Maxence Prosper. Luka Doncic was upgraded from questionable to questionable with a sprained right knee, even though he was thought to be limping. Doncic is injured, but he just recorded 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in Game 4, so expect a big performance. Tim Hardaway Jr. was demoted from questionable to out after aggravating his right ankle sprain. Olivier-Maxence Prosper is listed as unavailable due to a sprained left ankle.
The Clippers-Mavericks series has been one of the most unpredictable in the NBA playoffs to date. The Clippers lost both games in which Kawhi Leonard played, but led by at least 29 points in both games in which he did not play.
The LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks will face off tonight at 10pm ET in Game 5.
