Over the past two years, VentoItalian chapter exer ventureshas established itself as a pioneer in venture investment and venture building, driving innovation across a variety of industries and fostering the growth of breakthrough startups.
At the heart of Vento's success are two key activities: investing and venture building. Vento sets a new standard for venture capital in Italy, offering a £128,600 investment ticket to early-stage startups in any industry, provided they have at least one Italian founder . The company stands out for its fast decision-making process, with an average turnaround time of just five days, and its founder-friendly approach. To date, Vento has reviewed over 2,400 applications and invested in 60 companies. This is a testament to Vento's rigorous selection process and commitment to excellence.
Diverse and talented workforce
Vento's innovative approach is to select talent at the pre-idea and pre-team stage and financially support them as they develop their startups. To date, the program has received over 1,500 applications, selected 110 people, launched 20 startups, and invested in 10 of them. These results were achieved thanks to the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and OGR Torino. Vento is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the upcoming investment committee, which will decide on a potential pre-seed investment of £68,600 in the latest group of 40 talents.
