When you go to a large mall or high-end shopping center, your shopping choices often center around big-name retail brands. But the spotlight will be on small businesses for the next four days at Legacy West in Plano, with vendors selling a variety of goods and gifts inside cabins on the Starbucks Breezeway.
The 2024 Small Business Cohort Kickoff Weekend at Legacy West will run from Thursday, March 21st to Sunday, March 24th. Of the small businesses on display, 90% are women-owned. This is especially timely as March is Women's History Month.
Rachel Chan, Legacy West Small Business Cohort Founder
rachel Mr. Chan, marketing director of commercial real estate company Prism Places is passionate about supporting and empowering women-led businesses. She founded her Legacy West Small Business Cohort. Foster small and medium-sized enterprises by promoting their growth and development. The initiative will provide North Texas entrepreneurs with “resources, mentorship, education, free pop-up space, and investment opportunities.”
This long “local shopping weekend” has everything from skincare to home design items, cookies, puzzles, jewelry and more.
