Joe Rogan's controversial podcast will live on for another day, and many more years, thanks to a new multi-million dollar deal.
The former “Fear Factor” host has signed a new deal with Spotify reportedly worth $250 million. As part of the deal, “The Joe Rogan Experience” will also be available on other streaming platforms.
The three-year deal, which reportedly includes a guaranteed minimum fee and a share of advertising revenue for the provocative podcaster, was first reported by the Wall Street Journal on Friday.
For the past three years, Spotify has had exclusive streaming rights to Logan's podcast. However, the new deal will include distribution on Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and YouTube.
“JRE continues to be the king of podcasting, consistently ranking as the most listened to podcast around the world, and our users have ranked the show as a Wrapped top podcast on Spotify every year since 2020. ” Spotify posted on its website Friday.
The 56-year-old Newark native started his podcast in 2009 and shared news of the renewal on social media.
“I'm thrilled to announce that we're extending our partnership with Spotify, the world's largest podcast platform,” he wrote, while also announcing that his show will be available elsewhere “soon.” .

In recent years, Rogan's podcast has amplified the voices of polarizing figures such as bombastic “InfoWars” host Alex Jones and Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes.
Logan has apologized after his repeated use of the N-word resurfaced during Black History Month in 2022 and was edited into a video clip that went viral.
Spotify CEO Daniel Ek later apologized to employees for the backlash the show received.
