The Alabama Supreme Court has thrown the IVF procedure into the abortion rights fight, ruling that fertilized embryos should be treated as “children outside the womb.” President Biden warned Republicans in his State of the Union address that they “know nothing about the power of women.” And Sen. Katie Britt, from a state that puts IVF at risk, was chosen as the Republican respondent.
